Important Update: Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield or iCare Insurance Coverage at iDental

Dear Patients,

We want to take a moment to share an important update regarding our insurance policies here at iDental. Beginning immediately, our office will no longer be accepting new patients covered under  Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield or iCare insurance. This decision was not made lightly, and we understand that insurance changes can be stressful and inconvenient. Our goal in sharing this news is to ensure transparency and give you plenty of time to plan ahead.

What This Means for New Patients

Effective immediately, iDental will no longer schedule or accept new patients who rely on  Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield or iCare insurance for dental services. We encourage those exploring care options to reach out to us for help reviewing alternatives.

🗓 Current  Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield or iCare Patients: Important Deadlines

If you are currently a patient at iDental with  Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield or iCare, we will continue to honor your coverage for treatment through December 31st of this year. We strongly recommend scheduling any outstanding appointments or treatments as soon as possible so we can complete your care under your current plan.

Orthodontic Patients

For patients currently in active orthodontic treatment under  Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield or iCare, rest assured—you will be allowed to complete your full course of treatment even beyond the December 31st cutoff. However, no new orthodontic cases will be accepted under  Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield or iCare moving forward.

Affordable Alternatives: iDental Premier Plan

We recognize that not everyone has the flexibility to change insurance providers. If  Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield or iCare is your only option—or you don’t have dental insurance at all—we want you to know that we’re here for you.

Our iDental Premier Plan is a cash-based alternative that offers affordable pricing, transparent costs, and access to high-quality care without the complexities of insurance. This plan has helped many families continue their treatment with us seamlessly and cost-effectively.
